PROGRESS REPORT FOR THE ELDERLY CARE HOME PROJECT - DEC 2021

The joy of Ongole town people especially the destitute senior citizens knew no bounds when the news about purchase of 1 acre of land in the suburbs of the town to start an elderly care home for the poor by the Joy Bharath Foundation, USA in collaboration with the Social Welfare Organization under the able supervision of Rev. Sr. Velanganni Mary, spread around. They were literally stunned in their disbelief as their long cherished dream for a care home to the needy destitute senior citizens is indeed becoming a true reality. They were all overwhelmed with gladness and expressed their indebted gratitude to the Donors for their benevolence in promoting such a worthy project in favor of the orphaned elders from the COVID pandemic and other circumstances.

Initially, the entire construction site was cleared by removing the dirt and thorny bushes by employing the workers. Then our expert engineer Mr. Suresh Babu with the help of masonry team levelled the site and marked the ground for the construction of compound wall. Wednesday, September 08, 2021 was an auspicious day as Rev. Sr. Velanganni Mary said the prayer and did ground breaking for the construction of intended fencing wall for the Elderly Care Home
