Activities during the Lockdown due to Corona

JBF extended services even during Global pandemic to the one who are in need.

1. Food Distribution: Since the Staff belonging to the Municipal Corporation, Police, Revenue and other Departments involved in taking care of the administration, food was prepared and was distributed for them free so that after having food, they continue their services.

2. Services for the people in the Quarantine & Homeless people: Fans, Bedsheets, Tube Lights & Bulbs were donated for the people in Quarantine homes.

3. Masks Distribution: Washable & reusable masks were distributed to the Municipal Staff, Police Staff, Revenue Staff and Mandal Development Staff, Homeless people and Families staying in Quarantine in Punganur Municipality and Punganur Mandal. Mask also were distributed for the village volunteers who work in 150 villages of Punganur Mandal.

4. Provisions Distribution: Since there was no possibility for the daily labourers to go for work due to lockdown, Provisions were distributed to them so that they could cook at home.

5. Vegetables Distribution: Since there was no possibility for the daily labourers to go for the work, Vegetables were distributed to the poor and deserving families so that they could cook at home.

6. Services for the Health Workers: Sanitizers, Fruit Juices, Biscuits were distributed for 120 Health Workers and ANM Nurses who work in 32 Wards of Punganur Municipality.

“The Foundation has extended its services to over 4,000 people during the Lock down time. The people and officers are so happy and our Foundation has become a model for other voluntary organizations and individuals to start helping the poor and needy in this difficult situation.
